Several Manta grades are benchmarked against established international grades with the same INCI. Benchmarks we can document: Performance comparable to Evonik ABIL EM 90. Performance comparable to Shin-Etsu KF-6038. Performance comparable to Shin-Etsu KF-6017 / Dow ES-5612. Performance comparable to Dow DC1501. Trademarks belong to their respective owners. Benchmarks refer to INCI and typical properties; confirm performance in your own formula. If you use another grade, send us its name or INCI and we will propose the closest Manta grade with a side-by-side TDS comparison and samples.

Under EU REACH Annex XVII (entry 70), D4 and D5 have been limited to below 0.1% (w/w) in wash-off cosmetic products since 2020 (Regulation (EU) 2018/35). Regulation (EU) 2024/1328 adds D6 and extends the 0.1% limit to leave-on cosmetic products from 6 June 2027. Manta offers these linear (non-cyclic) alternatives: Evaporation profile and silky dry-down closest to D5; the usual first choice for replacing D5. Slower evaporation for longer play time. Very fast evaporation for aerosols and quick-dry products (flash points −1 °C and 29 °C). Fast-drying, non-cyclic volatile for light, dry-touch formulas. Light alkyl silicones for formulas that need compatibility with esters and natural oils. Sensory and spreading behaviour differ from D5, so confirm the replacement with stability and sensory testing. Manta also supplies cyclic grades (F1045 D5, F1049 D6, F1048 D5/D6) for products and markets where they remain permitted.

Yes — samples are chargeable, and the sample price includes courier delivery. The sample charge is credited against your first commercial order, with no minimum order quantity; the details are agreed case by case with your sales representative.

Silicones and PEG-modified silicones are not permitted ingredients under the COSMOS standard, so Manta silicone grades are not COSMOS certified or approved.

Our application engineering team provides complimentary support in three areas for active customers and qualified prospects: Based on your formulation system, processing conditions, and target performance, we will recommend 1-3 candidate grades with comparative TDS data and arrange samples. Guidance on emulsion instability, unexpected rheological behavior, poor film formation, pigment flocculation, incompatibility between oil-phase components, and other formulation challenges. Grade-mapping and comparative technical data for replacement of grades from major international silicone suppliers. To help us provide the most targeted recommendation, please share: base polymer or emulsion type, oil-phase composition, processing temperature profile, current reference products in use, and target market regulatory constraints (e.g., cyclic silicone restrictions, VOC limits, PFAS-free requirements).

Yes, we welcome customer visits to our headquarters in Nanjing and our production sites in Jiujiang (Jiangxi) and Jining (Shandong). Please contact your sales representative at least 2 weeks in advance with:

We ship via FedEx, DHL, and UPS in full compliance with applicable international goods transport regulations. Flammable grades such as F1006 0.65 cSt (flash point −1 °C) and F1006 1 cSt (flash point 29 °C) require UN-specification packaging, proper DG declaration, and shipper's certification. This may add 2-5 business days to dispatch lead time and incur additional DG handling surcharges. Ship on standard courier timelines. All shipments include GHS-compliant labeling, traceable batch number, CoA for the supplied lot, and SDS.
