Manta base silicone fluids include Dimethicone, Phenyl Trimethicone and related silicone fluid grades developed for personal care formulations. These materials provide controlled slip, emollience, gloss, water resistance and conditioning in skin care, hair care, sun care and color cosmetics. The range covers low-viscosity spreading fluids, high-viscosity conditioning fluids and phenyl-modified grades with increased refractive index and compatibility. How to Choose
Choose the viscosity step, not the grade
F1006 high-viscosity dimethicone is supplied across five viscosity steps from 60,000 to 1,200,000 cSt. The chemistry is the same throughout; the step sets how much body and how much residual cushion the fluid contributes, and how hard it is to pump and meter on your line.
High viscosity changes handling before it changes feel
The upper steps need heated lines or pre-dilution to move at all, and they disperse slowly into an oil phase. Confirm that your equipment can handle the step you want before you qualify it on sensory grounds — the dilution you add to make it pumpable becomes part of the formula.
