Manta A203B Silicone Resin Film-forming Agent

Manta A203B is a hydrophobic film-forming blend, consisting of solid Trimethylsiloxysilicate (MQ Resin) fully dispersed in a Dimethicone carrier.

Designed to overcome the stiffness and cracking often associated with traditional resin solutions, Manta A203B creates a flexible, breathable, and coherent matrix on the skin. It acts as a powerful fixative that locks pigments and active ingredients in place, providing exceptional transfer resistance (rub-off resistance) while maintaining a comfortable, non-tightening sensory profile. Its specific viscosity profile makes it an ideal rheology modifier for stabilizing BB cushions and liquid foundations.

Manta A203B is used in:

1. BB Cushions & Liquid Foundations: The key ingredient for transfer-proof foundations that still look moist and glowing. It stabilizes the emulsion and prevents pigment settling.
2. Liquid Lipsticks: Provides the anchor for long-wear lip color that feels moisturizing rather than drying.
3. Sun Care: Significantly boosts SPF retention (water resistance) during swimming or sweating.
4. Eyeliner & Mascara: Ensures smudge-proof performance and intense color payoff.

How to use

Phase of Addition: Add to the Oil Phase.

Processing: Mix well with other oils or silicones. It can be heated (heat stable).

Dosage:

Skin Care / BB Creams: 1.0% – 5.0% (For feel and light film);

Color Cosmetics (Lipstick/Foundation): 5.0% – 20.0% (For strong film-forming and transfer resistance).

Formulation Guidelines

Incorporation: Manta A203B is an oil-phase ingredient. It can be added to the silicone or oil phase of the formulation.

Compatibility: Miscible with other silicones (Cyclics, Dimethicones, Phenyl Trimethicone) and Isododecane. Limited compatibility with high-polarity plant oils (may require a compatibilizer like Caprylyl Methicone).

Processing: Stable at elevated temperatures. Can be processed hot or cold.

Safety and Storage

Keep away from heat and open flame. Prevent from the exposure of moisture, acid, alkalis and other impurities. When stored at well in the original unopened containers, this product has a usable life of 24 months from the date of production.
