Manta F10161 Silicone Fluid

Manta F10161 is an ultra-high molecular weight Dimethicone Gum precisely dispersed in a volatile Cyclopentasiloxane (D5) carrier.

Designed as a premier sensory modifier, this product utilizes the volatile carrier to deliver the high-viscosity gum evenly across the skin or hair surface. Upon application, the carrier provides excellent spreadability before evaporating at a controlled rate (moderate volatility), depositing a continuous, breathable, and hydrophobic film. This results in a sophisticated velvety-soft texture and a non-greasy, satin finish that significantly enhances the perceived value of formulations.

How to Use

Temperature Control: Due to the volatility of the cyclopentasiloxane carrier, it is highly recommended to process Manta F10161 at room temperature or below 50°C.

Processing: If the oil phase requires melting, cool the batch to 50°C or lower before slowly adding this product under continuous stirring. Add any remaining heat-sensitive ingredients afterward.

Compatibility & Dilution: Demonstrates good compatibility with oil-phase cosmetic ingredients such as pigments, natural oils, and fragrances. If lower viscosity is desired, it can be further diluted with volatile silicones (e.g., cyclomethicone).

Recommended Dosage: 3.0% – 8.0% in standard hair care and skin care products; 40.0% – 50.0% in concentrated hair serums/oils.

Safety and Storage

Keep away from heat and open flame. Prevent from the exposure of moisture, acid, alkalis and other impurities. When stored at well in the original unopened containers, this product has a usable life of 24 months from the date of production. This product is non-hazardous product.
