Manta F1017A Dimethicone (and) Dimethiconol

Manta F1017A is an ultra-high molecular weight Dimethiconol within a non-volatile Dimethicone matrix.

Distinct from transient cyclic-based blends, this fluid provides sustained surface interaction. The hydroxyl groups on the Dimethiconol backbone facilitate strong physical adsorption to protein substrates (such as hair keratin), creating a durable, cohesive shield. This mechanism effectively seals the hair cuticle to repair split ends while imparting a rich, substantive velvety feel to the skin that persists significantly longer than volatile alternatives.

How to Use

1. Compatibility & Dilution: Exhibits excellent compatibility with oil-phase cosmetic raw materials, including natural lipids and fragrances. It can be diluted with cyclic silicone oils (cyclomethicone) in any proportion to adjust viscosity.
2. Thermal Stability: Manta F1017A is heat-stable and can be incorporated into the oil phase. However, it is recommended to keep the operating temperature below 85°C. To maintain optimal stability, heating time during the emulsification process should not exceed 30 minutes.
3. Recommended Dosage: 3.0% – 10.0% in skin care creams; 3.0% – 6.0% in standard hair care products; 40.0% – 50.0% in concentrated hair oils/serums.

Keep away from heat and open flame. Prevent from the exposure of moisture, acid, alkalis and other impurities. When stored at well in the original unopened containers, this product has a usable life of 24 months from the date of production. This product is non-hazardous product.
